Free Ceiling Insulation? Why Not!
With the introduction of the Homeowner Insulation Program and the Low Emission Assistance Plan for Renters the Australian Government’s Energy Efficient Homes Package is subsidising the cost of installing ceiling insulation in up to 2.9 million homes across Australia.
This means eligible homeowners (and tenants and landlords) can obtain financial assistance of up to $1600 (or $1000) for the purchase and installation of ceiling insulation in their homes.
In many homes, the cost of installing ceiling insulation can actually be less than the rebate available, effectively making it free!
